By road

Karabük is reached by road from three directions. From the Ankara–Istanbul highway, turn off at Gerede; Karabük is 82 km ahead. Bartın lies to the north and Kastamonu to the east. Once in Karabük, follow signs to Karabük University (KBÜ); the Iron & Steel Institute Conference Hall is on campus.
